A Chichester based design company with a nationwide reach

Chris Casburn set up Sylvatica Garden Design in 2006 to meet the growing demand for low cost garden designs that can be implemented anywhere in the UK.

With a background in marketing communications, Chris realised that the key to getting any project completed well was the accuracy of "the brief". He created the Sylvatica Garden Design Questionnaire whilst completing his Diploma in Garden Design at KLC in Chelsea.

He has designed a number of gardens in Sussex and London where he combines the knowledge gleaned from his degree in Plant Biology and Soil Sciences with a sense of fun and creativity.

This includes the use of Royal Grass, in our view, the best artificial grass available in the UK. There is no such thing as a low-maintenance lawn and for small gardens it's the perfect solution! Sylvatica Garden Design thinks "outside the box".
